Summary Description of Benchmark Jobs and Wage and Salary Data - 2011
The Institut de la statistique du Québec presents the benchmark jobs selected for the Enquête sur la rémunération globale au Québec. Collecte 2011 (Total Compensation Survey of Benchmark Jobs). The choice of benchmark jobs was based on their distinctive character and their comparability with jobs in the labour marketplace. Their description is based on Québec government job classifications.
To make it easier to find the benchmark jobs, they have been grouped into five job categories (professionals, technicians, clerical and administrative support staff and service and maintenance personnel). Just select the code to the left of the job class in the list below and you will be given:
- a summary of the job's responsibilities;
- job requirement criteria (level of schooling, experience, or training);
- 2011 wage and salary data and other figures.
In order to find a corresponding job title in the job market select (SEE) in the other job titles column and a list of the main job titles in the establishments surveyed in Québec within the framework of ERG 2011 will be displayed by level of complexity.
