Principal Culture and Communications Statistics for Québec
Statistiques principales de la culture et des communications au Québec is an OCCQ publication, which is now available only on the Observatoire website. The objective of the publication is to provide an overall picture of activity in Québec’s culture and communications industry by grouping the main data available on the OCCQ website under six sections, i.e. consumers, establishments, culture workers, government expenditures, training and bestsellers.
Throughout the different sections, you will find, among other things, data on the cultural practices of the Québec population, the socioeconomic characteristics of culture workers, financial assistance from the various levels of government, and production of cultural goods and services as well as their consumption. There is also a wealth of relevant information on the communications industry, and particularly radio, television and advertising.
