The monthly publication Emploi et rémunération de l’industrie des services financiers, Canada et provinces draws a general picture of the comparative evolution of employment and payroll in the financial services industry.
The data were obtained from Statistic Canada’s Survey of Employment, Payrolls and Hours (SEPH) and cover the same territories, sectors and subsectors of the industry as those used in the ISQ’s annual publication on the same subject.
The statistical tables present in order the number of payroll jobs and the average weekly earnings in the industry by sector and subsector for each of the territories selected. The data for the current and previous year are presented by month and quarter.
