This edition of the Flash bulletin features a statistical portrait of low income across Québec and by administrative region as measured by the Low Income Measure (LIM). The focus is on the low-income rate in 2006 and the changes in it between 2005 and 2006. The portrait first looks at all families and non-family persons, and is subsequently nuanced according to the following types: non-family persons, all families and three types of families, i.e. couples without children, couples with children and lone-parent families.
