1. "From the same region" represents those newly enrolled in college full time who were enrolled in Secondary V full time in a school in the region one year before entering college. "From another region" represents those newly enrolled in college full time who were enrolled in Secondary V full time in a school outside the region one year before entering college.
2. "In the same region" represents graduates of Secondary V who were full-time students in a given region and who enroll in a college in that region. "In another region" represents graduates of Secondary V who were full-time students in a given region and who enroll in a college outside that region.
3. The balance sheet for newly enrolled students is established on the basis of the changes in the number of those newly enrolled. The balance is positive if the number of Secondary V graduates from other regions who enroll in a given region is greater than the number of graduates from that region who go to other regions. Conversely, the balance is negative if the number of Secondary V graduates from a given region who enroll in another region is greater than the number of graduates from other regions.
