1. The data are based on fiscal years (from April 1st to March 31).
2. Number of people working for the network as of March 31 of each year. Persons holding more than one job on March 31 are only counted once; jobs are prioritized by status (first full-time regular positions, next part-time regular positions, then part-time casual positions), and, for the same status, by full-time equivalent (FTE) (MSSS, 2012).
3. Since April 1, 2015, following the implementation of the Act to modify the organization and governance of the health and social services network, in particular by abolishing the regional agencies, the data held by two health and social service centres (CSSS) in Montérégie (CSSS La Pommeraie and CSSS de la Haute-Yamaska) have been integrated into the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de l'Estrie – Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CIUSSS de l'Estrie – CHUS) and are presented with the data for the Estrie health region. For a complete list of the municipalities affected by these changes, click here.
4. Calculated for all nursing resources in relation to the population on July 1 for each fiscal year.
