1. The rate of workers is an indicator developed by the Institut based on personal taxation statistics in order to monitor annual labour market trends in RCMs. It corresponds to the number of workers expressed as a percentage of the number of individuals who filed an income tax return with Revenu Québec. For information on data analysis, see Bulletin flash sur l'évolution du marché du travail dans les MRC.

2. Geographic boundary and name in force as at December 31, 2015. The geographical version of RCMs includes RCMs in the legal sense and RCM equivalent territories (ET), as well as aboriginal communities and northern villages located within the perimeter of RCMs or that constitute ETs.
