1. The mortinatality rate is the number of stillbirths divided by total births and stillbirths multiplied by 1 000. | |||

2. The perinatal mortality rate is the number of stillbirths added to the number of infant deaths under 7 days divided by total births and stillbirths multiplied by 1 000. | |||

3. The neonatal mortality rate is the number of infant deaths under 28 days divided by the number of births multiplied by 1 000. | |||

4. The early neonatal mortality rate is the number of infant deaths under 7 days divided by the number of births multiplied by 1 000. | |||

5. The late neonatal mortality rate is the number of infant deaths of 7 days to 27 days divided by the number of births multiplied by 1 000. | |||

6. The postneonatal mortality rate is the number of infant deaths at 28 days and over divided by the number of births multiplied by 1 000. | |||
