1. For a given region, the economic dependency ratio is the amount of government transfers received for every $100 of the region's total employment income.
2. The provincial economic dependency index is the economic dependency ratio (EDR) of a region expressed as a percentage of the EDR for the province. This index may be more than 100, meaning that the EDR for the region is higher than the EDR for all of Québec.
3. Includes Working Income Tax Benefit and Children's Fitness Tax Credit.
