This statistical portrait aims to address existing gaps in terms of indicators of the mental health status of Quebecers.
To that end, it provides relevant information on the prevalence of certain issues among persons aged 15 and over. It also provides indicators concerning positive mental health and the use of resources. Finally, readers will find information allowing them to compare the situation of Quebecers with that of persons living elsewhere in Canada.
This publication is based on data from the 2012 Canadian Community Health Survey – Mental Health conducted by Statistics Canada.
