This is the third brochure in a series that paints a portrait of the mental health and well-being of Quebecers aged 15 and over. Statistics Canada's Canadian Community Health Survey (Cycle 1.2) made it possible to estimate for this population in 2002, the prevalence of several mental health problems: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, suicidal ideation and suicide attempts, alcohol and drug addiction, and at-risk or problem gambling. The presence of concurrent mental health and substance use disorders completes this new portrait of the mental health of the Québec population.
