This survey provides representative and reliable data, at the provincial and regional level, which help evaluate specific aspects of the reform of the Québec cancer treatment system. This publication features the survey’s main methodological parameters as well as the target population’s characteristics.
This publication looks at the quality of health care received by patients by documenting: 1) the overall assessment they make of the services received; 2) six dimensions of quality: accessibility; coordination-continuity; emotional support; information; physical comfort and respect for patient preferences; and 3) waiting time at the hospital before receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
