Profil de consultation, satisfaction globale et opinion générale : analyse des données de l'Enquête sur la satisfaction des usagers à l'égard des services de santé et des services sociaux du Québec, 2006-2007

The main objective of the Enquête sur la satisfaction des usagers à l’égard des services de santé et des services sociaux du Québec 2006-2007 (health and social service user satisfaction survey) was to give a statistical portrait of the satisfaction and expectations of users. The target population in this survey is composed of all persons aged 15 and over, living in Québec in a private household and who consulted a health professional and used social services in a hospital, medical clinic, or CLSC, for themselves or a dependent, during the twelve months preceding the survey.

This second publication in the series examines three aspects: the consultation profile of users (utilization measured over a period of twelve months), their overall satisfaction (mesured using a so-called reference consultation) and their general opinion of the Québec health system in 2006-2007. These aspects are put into relation with selected sociodemographic characteristics of the users as well as with those related to their health.
