The data presented in this section come from surveys on innovation and product development conducted among Québec enterprises and establishments since 1999. The objective of these surveys is to collect information on the implementation of new or significantly improved products (goods or services) and processes in enterprises, and more recently on the implementation of new marketing and organizational methods. They also aim to collect information on business activities that lead or aim to lead to innovation.
