Summary of responsibilities

The Offset duplicating machine operator carries out the activities and processes required for the operation of offset duplicating machines and other machines normally found in a printing department. Main duties: operates one or several offset duplicating machines, depending on the size of the print run (machines may be automatic, for massproduction, or of the conventional type); handles colour registration and printing of various documents such as circulars, bulletins, newspapers, forms, letterheads and envelopes in one or several colours.

Education requirement

Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in a discipline related to printing, or the equivalent recognized by the appropriate authority
